Grooming Terms of Service:
Communication with the Groomer: To ensure your dog receives the grooming you desire, it’s vital to speak directly with our groomer on the scheduled day. We regretfully cannot accept instructions from dog walkers or sitters. Failure to communicate directly with the groomer absolves us of responsibility for service quality. Payment: Due to the nature of pet grooming all quoted prices prior to grooming pets are only estimates. Final price will depend on the temperament of each pet, and the condition of its coat. Upon physical inspection of my pet by a “groomer”, a good faith estimated price will be provided. Extra charges may apply for pets that are matted, have fleas and/or difficult to manage. Often, we are not aware of these extra charges until we have begun the grooming process, because of this the price originally quoted at drop off may increase. Payment is due at pick up (cash or card only). Dog salon Pagewood has the right to refuse service to me and my pet at any for any reason.
Cancellation Policy: We kindly request that reservations be canceled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled grooming to accommodate our schedule adjustments. By acknowledging these terms, you understand that late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee charged to the credit card on file: a) Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a charge of 25% of the scheduled service total; b) Failure to call and cancel, or not showing up for an appointment, will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service; c) Appointments may be rescheduled for arrivals exceeding a 15-minute delay. Failure to notify us within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time will be considered a “No-Show,” and our standard No-Show Fee will apply.
Registration: All dogs must be fully registered. This includes submitting current vaccination records. Please note that vaccination records must be kept up to date and renewed promptly upon expiration. Failure to present current grooming records by appointment check-in will result in forfeiture of the appointment and application of the “no-show” fee in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Hours of Operation: Our store hours are Monday-Saturday. Occasionally, our groomers work outside these hours. If your dog’s appointment falls outside regular hours, ring the doorbell at the location for access.
Grooming Satisfaction: If you encounter any concerns with the grooming service, kindly notify us on the same day. We will promptly address any required corrections, within reason, for free if reported promptly, but must be performed within 48 hours. After 48 hours any additional work done may require a full re-bath and full grooming service fee. Refunds are not provided for style-related concerns, these can be addressed at your next appointment through better communication.
Picking up Your Dog: Dogs must be picked up promptly after grooming. Extended stays are not accommodated to ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs. An additional charge may apply if dogs remain more than 30 minutes post pick-up notification, unless otherwise agreed.
LIABILITY
1.) If your pet has a history of aggression or biting, Dog Salon | Pet Grooming Pagewood reserves the right to refuse service.
2.) Owners are liable for any medical expenses and damages that result from injuries caused by pets.
3.) Dog Salon | Pet Grooming Pagewood is not responsible for allergic reactions resulting from the manufacturer recommendations usage of any products, or from any other conditions caused by standard grooming processes. Please consult your vet prior to having your pet treated if you have any questions or concerning your pet sensitivity to such treatments.
4.) Dog Salon | Pet Grooming Pagewood is not responsible for any pre-existing medical conditions or aggravation of those condition, such as heart disease, arthritis, obesity, infections, or any other medical problems that may be affected by the grooming process.
5.) Medical Release: If a medical emergency arises while my pet is receiving services at Dog Salon | Pet Grooming Pagewood. It is imperative that we are immediately able to get them medical treatment at the closest available facility. Dog Salon | Pet Grooming Pagewood will call ahead to veterinary offices in closest proximity geographically to insure they can handle the emergency present. Your pet will be rushed to the closest available facility for treatment and you will be notified. We will notify the owner after we have secured medical treatment center for the animal to avoid delays that may be caused by emotion on the part of the owner. Our goal is to get your pet medical attention as quickly as humanly possible, and any distractions may interfere with that process. Dog Salon | Pet Grooming Pagewood may use its reasonable discretion in seeking veterinary care on my behalf and owners will be responsible for paying the vet bill and related expenses.
